Gaelscoil Eois and Scoil Mhuire National School have received approval for the plans.

Two Co Monaghan schools are set to be demolished and replaced with new school buildings.

Gaelscoil Eois in Clones has been granted permission to demolish its existing school building.

This will allow for the construction of a new, eight classroom primary school with a connected G.P. hall, a ball court, and a junior play area.
