Two dead following house fire in Cork

Two people have died in a house fire in Cork. A man in his 80s and a woman in her 70s were found dead inside the house on Lower Glanmire Road in Mayfield. Emergency services were called to a house at around 11.15 last night. Traffic restrictions are currently in place at the scene on Lower Glanmire Road, with traffic reduced to one lane.
