The water supply to the Cuilcagh area of Cavan will be impacted tonight.
Irish Water and Cavan County Council are advising customers in the Cuilcagh, Crossbane and Mullagh areas that their water supply may be impacted as a result of a power failure last night meaning the supply to these areas is now shut down.
ESB is working to restore power and it is hoped this issue will be resolved by this evening, with some areas building pressure overnight.
