Works are underway on a new walkway in the Lurgan's Hill area of Carrickmacross.
Local Councillor Colm Carthy said it was great to see the works developing on the new path way in the town.
The funding for the works were approved almost two years ago but at least works are now underway, said the local Sinn Fein Councillor.

Cllr Carthy said this new footpath will enhance this popular walking area of Carrickmacross and will further tie in the Bogtown Lane to the town.
He added that the residents of the Lurgans will soon have a safer path to the town centre also.
