WWI trench experience puts Ballyjamesduff on the map

The popular WWI Trench Experience at Cavan County Museum is putting Ballyjamesduff on the map.
The educational and fun amenity was officially re-opened last month, following extensive renovation and improvement works.
The largest replica WWI trench in either the UK or Ireland was designed according to the specification used by the Royal Irish Fusiliers at the Battle of the Somme in 1916.

Local councillor Trevor Smith says it will continue to attract visitors to Co Cavan for many years to come.
The local representative says it has and will continue to put the area on the map.
