Podcast: Alopecia. Alopecia, or hair loss, is a common condition in Ireland. Its believed between 5,000 and 10,000 are living with the condition at any given time. Moreover, its an autoimmune condition causing patchy hair loss. While it can can affect people of all ages, it's particularly prevalent in men, with 40% of men over 35 experiencing noticeable hair loss.
