Following the attack on QIH Director Kevin Lunney, questions are being asked on the effects of downgrading Ballyconnell Garda Station and the decrease of officers on the street.
GRA representative James Morrisroe, claims downgrading strategically-located Garda districts is “doomed to failure,” with GRA calling for an “armed response unit in each Garda division”.
