Councillor Sean Conlon raised concerns about Monaghan County Council being given just over €200,000 from a €3.6m fund to tackle homelessness.
He called for more resources to tackle the issue and argued whilst the figures may show homelessness, it is not as big an issue for the County as other areas it is none the less a ‘crisis'.
