Programme 9. Edgeworthstown House, Co.Longford This historic house was originally built in 1672 by Richard Edgeworth and is now a nursing home. Sr.Dympna takes Noel on a tour of the house and he also meets Historian Matt Farrell. Programme 10. Bellamont House, Co.Cavan This house is noted for its beauty and when stepping through its front door there is the beautiful echo of history. The original owner was known as ‘an inverterate womanizer’, who had 16 children (5 by his wife).
