As the bad weather sets in we've been seeing pictures of shop shelves cleared of bread.
In the Northern Sound region however, people have also been clearing shops out of milk.
LacPatrick Dairies, the Co Monaghan-based dairy co-op, said it has noted a doubling in sales of its milk this week.
It's not all good fortune however as following the extension of the status red warning to all counties, LacPatrick Dairies has now confirmed there will now be disruptions to milk collections.
