10 TY students from across the Northern Sound Region spent a week at the Northern Sound studios in Monaghan, learning about broadcasting, editing, interview techniques and the day to day running of a radio station and its programs. By the end of the week the students had discussed, researched and recorded a number of audio pieces on topics that was of interest to them. The program was broadcast on Easter Monday evening at 8pm. You can listen back to their discussions on the resurgence of Vinyl records, the need for a Silent Sideline in the GAA, how effective is Irish been taught in our schools and are female artists fairly represented.
