Cavan-based KORE Insulation has won the SME Exemplary Energy Performance award at the recent Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland Energy Awards.
Kore Insulation scooped the award for its commitment to improved Energy Performance and achieving zero carbon emissions by 2030.
Over the past five years, KORE has implemented major reforms in reducing its energy demand and carbon emissions.
The Cavan company also participates in many retrofit schemes across the country and has implemented a range of energy-saving measures in its own factory.
KORE is focused on reducing its carbon emissions and has installed a solar PV renewable energy system, amongst other upgrades.
