A Co Cavan business that specialises in Irish-made Teddy Bears and that stocks famous brands such as the German-based Steiff is hitting the small screen tomorrow.
Bear Essentials, based in Bawnboy, will feature in a TG4 programme at 3.45 called "An Bhfuil a Fhios Agat".
The show teaches children about the mechanics behind how things are made and tomorrow they will discover the hard work that goes into making their special Teddy Bears.
Anke Morgenroth is the founder of Bear Essentials and once she re-located from Germany to Bawnboy, she wanted to bring the German love and passion for Teddy Bears to Ireland.
She spoke to our reporter Diarmuid Pepper about the story behind the business, the rise in sentimental gifts during the pandemic, the importance of e-commerce, and her participation in the TG4 programme:
