Annie from Boston spoke to Joe to lament the fact that she had already booked her trip home for St Patrick’s Weekend, only to find that the parade in Cavan has been cancelled – she wrote to Joe to ask him if he could “work his magic” and intervene… sure enough… after a flurry of phonecalls, Michael Mooney of The Slieve Rossa Pub in Cavan went live on air with Joe to confirm that in fact, Cavan County Council has confirmed that they HAVE awarded the parade organisers with funding for the event. Michael appealed for more help to try and get the parade together at this late stage – and even invited Annie to be Grand Marshall on the big day!
