The Irish are set to invade Hollywood this weekend for the 95th Academy Awards.

From The Banshees of Inisherrin to An Cailin Cuin, from Paul Mescal to Barry Keoghan, us Irish have never been so well represented in tinsel town.

The suits and the gúna’s are being ironed as we speak ahead of the big night on Sunday.

One standout success has been the meteoric rise of one Barry Keoghan. The now 30 year had a tough upbringing in Dublin before hitting the silver screen in Love/Hate, the Marvel Films and many many more.

Joe was joined by Pauric Coyle and Micky McHugh, two local men who taught Barry in O’Connells School in Dublin and who have followed his career ever since.
