A nice uplifting story for you now because a 6 year old girl from Castletara, only a year after her diagnosis of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, has climbed the highest peak in Donegal and all for charity …

Alex Brady received her diagnosis last year and now has manage to climb Errigal  for Little Blue Heroes as she says she wants to help all the children 'who are really sick'. She was helped along by her mother Annemarie Larkin who is a detective with Bailieborough Garda Station and her Dad along with a group of supporters.

She has raised over €5,500 in her efforts and Alex and her Mam spoke to Sheila about the hike:
