Emer Conlon's first book - 'The Adventures of Tim the Tipper in Quentin's Quarry' won first place in the Children's Picture Book Category for the Writers Digest's Self-Published Book Awards in America. Her 4th book is being launched in Monaghan town library at 11am on Saturday. Emer says, working in a truck dealers gave her the inspiration for the stories.
