In recent times, the purpose of Transistion Year in the secondary schools has come in for some criticism, however many projects are undertaken by students during this time and Beech Hill college Monaghan has proven this by getting involved with Bothar in the rearing of 3 goats.
The students involved are Shane Murray, Dylan Curly, Michael Connolly, Conor Smith and Cathal Caulfield and Sean Mc Caffrey went along to find out more and firstly spoke to Shane who explained how they got involved with the project
