HEAR MORE: The last customer in Heatons Monaghan

After over 40 years business, Heatons in Monaghan town ceased trading this week.

At 12pm on September 26th, the staff locked the doors for the final time.

As reported by Northern Sound News last month, the store closed with the loss of 8 jobs. Francis Meehan was the last person to shop in Heatons before it closes, and he told our reporter Aaron McElroy about his memories of the store.
