A Monaghan priest says it’s “lonely” to giving mass to an empty chapel.
Fr Stephen Duffy was one of several priests across Ireland who celebrated mass in front of a webcam, due to restrictions on large gatherings.
He said the Church now has to get creative in how it serves and connects with the parish and remains part of community, while obeying social distancing.

Fr Stephen joined Aaron McElroy on The Wider View to talk about what it was like to not have a congregation with him.
He started by saying the work of priest continues regardless.
