This Sunday marks the 96th anniversary of a shoot-out at Clones Railway Station which saw four Ulster Specials and an IRA commandment died in the incident. An event is taking place this Sunday to commemorate this.
Local Historian Michael McPhillips joined Caroline Gauley on The Wider View to talk about the little known event, and he started by telling Caroline about what happened on February 11th 1922:
