Largy celebrates its 2nd win in the National YSI competition in 3 years

Local students have been named National Young Social Innovators of 2017.

Students from Largy College in Clones have scooped gold for their 'Mend a Mind' project which promotes positive mental health.  Over 7,000 young people from across Ireland took part in the awards this year, creatively tackling social issues affecting them and their communities.

Transition year students Caoimhe McGorman, Cliona McCarville and Simon Tunney and their teacher Sacha Cumiskey joined me in studio earlier.
