It was confirmed yesterday evening that the 2021 Ulster Senior football final between Monaghan and Tyrone will take place in Croke Park.

The game takes place on the 31st of July at 4pm.

Monaghan saw off Armagh in their semi-final while Tyrone made the final after victory over Donegal.

This means that for the second year in a row, St Tiernach’s Park in Clones won’t see the Anglo Celt cup being fought for.

For years there has been a campaign to keep the Ulster Final in Clones, despite efforts to redevelop Casement Park in Belfast, and the people of Clones aren’t giving up the fight.

Brian O’Harte from the Roost Bar on Fermanagh Street in Clones joined Aaron on The Wider View to give his reaction.
