Normally, if you were to be told that your holidays were to be extended and you’d be getting an extra few days away – you’d be delighted. But for one Carrickmacross woman and over one hundred other people on the same trip, it was because of days of flights being cancelled and meant multiple transfers to the airport.
Karen Ward eventually returned home after her week in Greece on Tuesday morning - after getting more than she bargained for.
She spoke to Aaron McElroy on The Wider View and started by explaining when things had started to go wrong.
