Listen Back: Cllr Keelan pays tribute to his supporters as he takes up MD Cathaoirleach role

At the 2026 AGM of The Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney on Monday, Cllr Noel Keelan was elected Cathaoirleach of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney MD and Cllr Aidan Campbell was elected Leas Chathaoirelach.

Cllr Keelan said he was very happy to take up the role over the next 12 months.

The elected rep for over 25 years in the area outlined to Ronan Gargan what his priorities will be over that time frame.
