Drumkilly NS 50th Anniversary celebrations set to take place. A special day of celebrations planned this Saturday June 14th for Drumkilly NS's 50th Anniversary.
The rural Co Cavan school located close to Kilnaleck is celebrating 50 years since they first opened their doors,

The day will commence with mass at 12 noon. Then it is back to the school for refreshments and an afternoon of chat, traditional music, face painting, puppet show, ice cream van and a look around your old school and classrooms.
It's sure to be a day for many people in the locality to reminisce over the past five decades. Ronan Gargan visited the Drumkilly NS earlier today. Whilst there he spoke to a number of people. Moreover, he was treated to a special musical performance ahead of the weekends celebrations.
