Listen Back: Local historian Patrick Mulroe on a seminar entitled 'a forgotten conflict'

An interesting seminar entitled 'a forgotten conflict' is due to be held tomorrow morning in the Iontas Theatre in Castleblayney.

The event will discuss the legacy of political violence along the Border in 1922 prior to and during the Irish Civil War.

The Seminar which will feature local historian and lecturer Patrick Mulroe has been jointly organised by the Royal Irish Academy and Monaghan County Museum.

Monaghan historian Patrick Mulroe is one of the guest speakers at tomorrow's event and he has been speaking to our reporter Ronan Gargan.

Patrick started his conversation with Ronan by explaining what the forgotten conflict was all about.
