Listen Back: Shutters set to come down on Finnegan's for one last time. After almost 140 years in operation Finnegan's of Bailieboro located on the main street is set to close its doors for the final time.
The drapery store has been at the cornerstone of the community since 1887.
John Finnegan has decided to retire and close the store marking an end of an era in the town on the four generations operated family business. Following a few health issues he says the time is right and it's time to call it a day. He says he has had great times here and met some amazing people. John spoke to Ronan Gargan in detail in the store as he looks back on him families legacy.
