The sister of a Cavan woman missing in Portugal for two years is calling on Gardai to lead the investigation.
Jean Tighe, who was originally from Munterconnaught, went missing while staying in a hostel with friends.
She was reported missing at the time, but it wasn't until she didn't return home for Christmas that her family was informed that she'd disappeared.

The Tighe family have travelled to Portugal a number of times to get answers for themselves, but haven't got any answers from the local police.
Jean's sister Leona spoke to Aaron McElroy on The Wider View and started by explaining what they know about the last sightings of Jean.
