The family of Columba McVeigh hope their recent appeal is the last.

Columba McVeigh was abducted, murdered, and secretly buried in 1975, and there have been five searches of Bragan Bog since 1999 for his body.

His brother Oliver says they refuse to give up and that any information, no matter how 'silly' or insignificant they think it is, could be useful.

He is asking those responsible to do the right thing and relieve themselves from the guilt of holding back the information.

Oliver spoke to our reporter, Diarmuid Pepper, in light of a suggestion that sophisticated terrain scanning technology could be useful in future searches undertaken by the Independent Commission on the Location of Victims' Remains.

While Mr McVeigh says he "leaves all the technical aspects of the searches for Columba to the ICLVR," he added that "no amount of technology will find the hole in the ground where they left our brother if you're not sent to the right place":
