Malta's Foreign Affairs Minister said it's important for Ireland and the EU to look forward not backwards in the run up to Brexit.
Speaking in Cavan on Tuesday afternoon Carmelo Abela said it was vital to gain first-hand experience of the border region, engaging with local residents and businesses and listening to their concerns about Brexit.
He acknowledged there are concerns and challenges facing the region but told Northern Sound News that we need to look at the opportunities that exist as well:
