After months of intensive lobbying, the HSE has agreed to fund specialised treatment for 10 year old Grace McIntyre from County Leitrim.
Grace suffers from Morquio - a rare metabolic disease which causes lifelong problems such as heart disease, skeletal abnormalities and respiratory issues.
Grace's mum Barbara got the call from the metabolic unit in Temple street and says they were so happy to get the good news - she had kept us updated about the campaign on the show in recent months.
