Road traffic victims to be remembered locally this year

World Remembrance Day for Road Traffic Victims will be commemorated locally for the first time this year.

Martina McCrudden from Clones, who lost her son Daniel in 2011, is behind the event, as well as the RSA and the Road Safety Officer in Monaghan.

The event for Cavan, Monaghan and Fermanagh is planned for Castle Saunderson on Sunday on November 19th.  Martina says it will give families an opportunity to meet with other families who have lost a loved one and to grieve for their loss.
