Eddie Dunbar still inside top ten at Giro d'Italia

Ireland’s Eddie Dunbar remains in the hunt for a top ten finish at the Giro d'Italia after Tuesday's tenth stage.

The Cork native finished in 27^th place leaving him ninth in the general classification.

He’s two minutes and 32 seconds off the lead held by British rider Geraint Thomas.

Meanwhile, Ben Healy finished 105^th on the tenth stage and is currently 47^th in the overall standings.

Danish cyclist Magnus Cort Nielsen won the tenth stage amid somewhat inclement conditions.

He now has completed the Grand Tour Slam having already claimed Stage wins at the Tour de France and Vuelta a España.

Derek Gee took second place while Alessandro De Marchi was third.
