Monaghan have named their side to face Louth this Sunday in the All Ireland Quarter final. Both Rory Beggan and Karl Gallagher are part of the starting 15 having picked up knocks in the win over Westmeath last weekend. The Scotstown club man is set to start in goals with Ryan Wylie, Killan Lavelle and Dylan Byrne in the full back line. Dessie Ward, Ryan O'Toole and Conor Mc Carthy make up the half back line with Michael Mc Carville and Karl Gallagher at the centre of the field. Aaron Carey, Michael Bannigan and Stephen O'Hanlon are the half forward line with Jack Mc Carron, Andrew Woods and Stephen Mooney completing the starting 15.
With the Wee county having qualified directly for the quarter final with a round 2 win over Armagh they have had a week off which could be an advantage. GAA pundit Kieran Kierans noted however that momenteum is also very important and Gabriel Bannigans side have that with back to back wins
