Two Cavan-Monaghan Superintendents have been thanked by the Garda Commissoner as they retire

The Garda Commissioner has thanked a local Chief Superintendent and Superintendent as they retire.

Commissioner Drew Harris yesterday attended the Cavan Joint Policing Committee meeting, which was held online.

The Cavan-Monaghan Chief Superintendent John O'Reilly recently retired and Cavan Superintendent Jimmy Coen is to retire shortly.

Commissioner Harris and members of the JPC praised both at the meeting.

Carrickmacross Superintendent Fergus Treanor also retired recently.
