Cavan county board held their convention last night (Thursday) and while there was no change to any of the main positions on committee , Ray Carolan was elected as honoray President while Aidan O'Dwyer was elected to Vice president. The financial report showed a surplus of over €120'000 for the year, with income close to €3 million and expenditure of over €2.9 million.
Just over €1 million was spent on the preparations of county teams at all levels while similar to other county boards a voluntary disclosure of just over 75,000 was made to revenue to cover from 2021 to 2024. Held in the Community centre in Shercock it was noted from the top table the disappointment in the low attendance at this years convention with a number of clubs not represented.
