Cavan woman has won a national award for her role North East Musical and Dramatic Society's production of Dear Evan Hansen.
Jenny McCabe won Best Supporting Actress at the AIMS ceremony in Killarney, which was attended by more than 1,400 people from musical societies across Ireland.
The show, which was the Irish premiere of Dear Evan Hansen, explored issues such as social anxiety, loneliness, suicide and the challenges faced by single parents.

Speaking to Northern Sound, Jenny said she was proud to be part of the production and praised the cast and crew for their work on the show.
