The fixtures for the 2026 Bank of Ireland Dr Mc Kenna cup have been confirmed. The Pre-season tournament returns at the start of the New Year having been dropped this year, with Cavan set to host Monaghan in Kingspan Breffni on the 3rd of January. Wednesday the 7th will see the Breffni county away to Fermanagh with the 3rd round on the 11th seeing Monaghan hosting the Ernesiders at Castleblayney.
Cavan will be under the new management of Dermot Mc Cabe while Gabriel Bannigan is back for a 2nd year in charge of Monaghan. Both sides have also been drawn to meet each other in the quarter final of the Ulster Senior football championship
