A 53-year old man has appeared in court charged in relation to the €5.25M drug seizure in Co Monaghan that occurred on Friday.
Lithuanian national, Aruna Racyla of Highfield, Carrickmacross has been charged in relation the misuse of drugs act and the sale and supply of cocaine.

It’s alleged at Ballyloughan, Carrickmacross the accused was unlawfully in the possession a controlled drug.
Detective Garda Kate Mulligan gave evidence of arrest, charge and caution where the accused gave no reply to the two charges put to him.
Damien Rudden representing Mr Racyla said that there was no application for bail at this time.
Judge Raymond Finnegan remanded the 53-year-old in jail to appear before Monaghan District Court next Monday the 23rd of March for DPP directions.
