Jim McGuinness is set to remain as Donegal's senior football manager for 2026. He guided his county to last season's Ulster title, but they lost the All-Ireland final to Kerry. Meanwhile, Karl Lacey has been installed as the county's new minor football manager. The Four Masters clubman - who won an All-Ireland as a player in 2012 - had a stint in charge of Down club side Kilcoo in recent seasons.
Armagh forward Stefan Campbell has retired from inter-county football. He first joined the panel in 2011 and was part of the All-Ireland winning squad of 2024. Campbell's last appearance came in the All-Ireland series defeat to Galway earlier this year. The Clann na Gael clubman is also a talented soccer player, and currently plies his trade with Mid-Ulster Football League outfit Lurgan Celtic.
