A woman who has been living in Direct Provision in Monaghan for four years is calling for an end to the 'painful' system.
Zwelibanzi Ndebele sought asylum here because she is part of the LGBT community, who are persecuted in her home country of Zimbabwe. Despite years in the system she is not permitted to seek employment, leaving her with just €21.60 a week to cover transport, sanitary items and other necessities people take for granted.
