Members of the public are being urged to make their views known on plans for new CCTV cameras in Monaghan town.
A public consultation meeting is taking place tonight to outline the plans.
It's proposed to place cameras around the town centre, in a bid to reduce anti-social behaviour and improve response times to incidents.

The proposals come from the Community Safety Partnership, who say rules will be in place to protect the privacy of the general public.
The meeting takes place in the Market House in Monaghan at 7.30 tonight.
