LISTEN BACK: Slaintecare's Healthy Communities to be launched by Minister Humphreys on Friday

The Sláintecare Healthy Communities Initiative for Cavan is being launched this Friday at Belturbet Railway Station.

19 local communities across Ireland have been selected for the initiative which focuses on access to a fully enhanced health and wellbeing programme.

Ann Marie Crosse who is the HSE Sláintecare Healthy Communities Coordinator told the Wider View that the initiative provides for a core group of services to be established in Co Cavan.

She says everyone in the county is welcome to join in tomorrow's launch where official proceedings will be carried out by local Minister, Heather Humphreys at 11am.
