Brendan Hughes died on Friday 3rd October, 2025. Peacefully in the care of the staff of St. Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by his loving family,
Anna died on 27th September.
Predeceased by their daughter Aideen, parents, Patrick and Bridie, sisters; Kathleen, Geraldine, Anna and Marcella.
Deeply regretted and remembered with love by his heartbroken family, sons; Paul and Conor (Orla), daughters, Angela (Paddy), and Hilary (Michael). Sadly missed by his 14 cherished grandchildren; Nicole, Imogen, Aoibheann, Ciara, Jamie, Melissa, Maebh, Ashleigh, Matthew, Liam, Vivienne, Noah, Christopher and Joey. Remembered by his brothers; Frank and Pat, sisters; Noreen and Martina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Removal on Saturday afternoon at 1:15 pm arriving for funeral mass at 2pm in St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, with burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery, where Brendan and Anna will be laid to eternal rest together.
