Aishling Smith (née McCarthy) passed away on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital.
Pre-deceased by her brother Andrew, nephew Damien.
Sadly missed by her loving husband Barry, sons Cian (Ciara), Ryan (Naoise) and Aaron, daughters Amy (Cormac Young) and Carla (Kevin). Fondly remembered by her parents Danny and Margaret McCarthy, brothers John and Ciaran. Deeply regretted by her parents in law Patrick and Eileen Smith, brothers in law, sisters in law, aunts, uncles, nephews, niece, relatives and many friends.
Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan tomorrow Thursday from 5.00pm until 7.00pm.
Requiem Mass on Friday at 11.00am in the Cathedral of SS Patrick and Felim, Cavan, Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.
