Anna Mary Smith passed away on Friday 6th March, 2026. Peacefully in her home.
She was wonderfully attended to by caregivers, Maria Fe Durian, the Cavan-Monaghan care givers & palliative team, Dr. Forbes & previously, Dr. Cronin, cousins- Paul Brennan and Anna Reilly & many kind friends and neighbours.
She is the cherished sister of brothers; Paddy (Eileen), Jemmy, Benny (Una), sisters; Katie, Rose and Maggie Smith and beloved daughter of Annie (nee Clarke) & Phil Smith, all of whom have preceded her in death. She will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Clarke’s Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Sunday 8th March from 6pm - 8pm and also on Monday 9th March from 3:30pm - 5:30pm. Removal at 5:45pm to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in St. Brigid's Cemetery Knockbride West (Tunnyduff). Funeral Mass can be viewed live via St. Anne's Church Webcam.
