Bernie McNally (née Cahill) died peacefully on Wednesday, 21st January 2026 at home in Kildorough, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Mick, parents and her siblings.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Alan, his wife Siobhán and son Cian, daughter Janet, brother Bartle, sister-in-law and carer Anne, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Bernie’s gentle soul rest in eternal peace.”

Bernie will repose at Ward’s Funeral Home, Castleblayney (A75NP30) on Thursday, 22nd January, from 5.00pm until 7.00pm. Funeral Mass will take place in The Sacred Heart Church, Lough Egish, at 11.00am on Friday, 23rd January, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family home strictly private please. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to a charity of your choice.
