Bridget (Una) Connolly (née Murtagh) passed away on Saturday 27th September 2025, peacefully in her 86th year, surrounded by her loving family in the tender loving care of the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, Castleblayney.
Predeceased by her husband Patrick, son Patrick, grandson Padraig, parents Joseph and Kathleen and her brothers and sisters.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family Vincent, Peter, Philip and Dermot, daughters-in-law Mary, Jean, Orla and Caroline, her sister Madeleine, her brother-in-law Monsignor Vincent, grandchildren Sinéad, Ciarán, Siobhán, Micheál, David, Amy, Paul, Lydia, Sarah, Cassie, Luke and Daniel, great-grandchildren Fionán, Cathal, Saoirse, Aoibhe, Ruairí, Emily, Jack, Rose and Harry, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross (A81 C653) on Monday evening from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning from Deery’s Funeral Home on foot at 10.30am to St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross (A81 K253) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Bawn (A75 FY98).
