Cathal Brennan passed away peacefully on Saturday, 20th June 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents, Mick and Maggie.
Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his brother Michael (Marie), sisters Elizabeth (Ray) and Breda (Uk), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and many friends.
Cathal will repose at Ward’s Funeral Home, Castleblayney (A75NP30) on Monday afternoon from 4.00pm until 8.00pm. Removal from the family home on Tuesday morning at 11.30am to arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Annyalla, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Castleblayney Cancer Society, c/o Ward’s Funeral Home or via the donation box.
